This was my first fishing outing of the summer (not including the early hike in to the Kenai River). I paddled around in my float tube for about 3 hours. Long Lake is strictly a catch and release fishery, because of that there are some nice fish in there. It takes about an hour to get there from our house.
I didn't really catch to many fish but 2 of them were over 18". Not to bad for a lake.
This guy was the smallest fish of the day, but his colors were beautiful. He was gently released back in to the depths.
